Off the Paved Path

Navigating Outdoors doesn't always mean traveling long distances and putting yourself in the middle of a remote forest or in the middle of raging rapids. There are probably some really cool outdoor destinations in your local area. In today's episode I am going to get in the car and take a road trip to some of the unique outdoor locations in my hometown. This is a great way to get yourself outdoors, and a good chance to take somebody with you who might not be physically capable of getting to the backcountry or other views requiring a physical journey. I will give you some examples near me to check out. Life is better when you navigate outdoors, so make somebody's life better, and take them to some places just off the Paved path in your hometown! The campground itself features 166 sites with electric and water hook-ups. 18 of these have Full Hookups (to include sewer). 4 of these sites are pull-ins to accommodate larger rv’s. There are 2 bath houses located within the park- both of which contain multiple showers/restrooms and a laundry. Wifi is available at an additional cost, and there is a small grocery store on site to help you out when you discover that you left something at home. There is also a recreation center on site, and the park has planned recreational activities (check website for exact times) for the kids and adults. The park also features a miniature golf course.
