Handmade Worlds Puppet Theatre Festival

Selections from the 2014 Handmade Worlds puppet theatre festival held in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Produced by Open Eye Figure Theatre in collaboration with Puppeteers of America and In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre for the 2014 Great Plains Regional Festival of the Puppeteers of America.
Excerpts include works by Larry Hunt, Toybox Theatre and Cripps Puppets, David Commander, Monica Leo, Paul Mesner, Michael Montenegro, Julian Crouch and Saskia Lane, Manual Cinema, and Open Eye Figure Theatre.

I remember a clip of marionette theatre in French with a puppeteer dressed in rags whose puppet emerges from a box, swigs a few drinks and sings opera

in the 70s there was a guy in San Francisco performed on Market St in a small booth. Never saw anything like it. He was selling weed and got busted
