SOCOM 16 | NVG Ready!

A gun I’ve always wanted! The @springfieldarmoryinc M1A SOCOM 16 in .308! We have ours setup for some NVG fun with the DBAL on top using the @unitytactical Fusion hub and Light Wing! I've got the SOCOM 16 with a pistol grip and adjustable stock. It has very quickly surpassed my AR as my fav.

Locktite that mount! The sa receiver threads are known for walking out then stripping out

I did the rattle can treatment on mine and it came out slick! With the black stock I put it in a mesh laundry bag and used OD green paint and took a tan paint to it for strips

I ended up keeping the black.stock but also buying the archangel stock an want to get a wooden stock. There killer fun rifles for sure

I own one of these and i love it! Ive got a vertical grip with an eotech holo and magnifier. It fires like a dream

Bought a Scout Squad about a month ago and love it.
Big honking EoTech on it and I'm good.
Just a fun rifle to shoot and sees no other duty.

308 is most definitely still a thing. Especially for battle rifles imo. I had the socom ii but ended up getting rid of it because my suppressor kept coming loose....& it is a bit bulky as well.
