Learn Finger Drumming with the XpressPads Technique!

Finger Drumming with the Novation Launchpad Pro can be fun if you apply the right technique. That's why I've played a couple of grooves in different styles in this video, such as funk, hip hop, jazz, and latin grooves.

Although the pads on the Novation Launchpad Pro are relatively small and their pad sensitivity is rather an added feature (compared to the legacy Launchpad) than it's USP, the device can be utilized for finger drumming quite well.

Nice video! Can you make a start to finish tutorial on how to set up a launchpad x to Logic Pro for finger drumming and set your custom sounds. Setting that you use on the launchpad etc?
Also if you could show how to finger drum connected to an iPhone with GarageBand or android so I can finger drum on the go as well, it would be awesome to see those, thanks! :)

How do you get four drum kits on here? I can only use one in the bottom left corner with Ableton

In 8x8, metal finger drumming performing as you show us in other 4×4 pads controllers, will be more difficult to play it? I want to invest in a 4x4 pad (right now i am thinking 8x8 might be a better choice) but also in your lessons as i watched it, i realized that sooner or later 4x4 will be not enough for metal fingerdrumming, saying that, will you recommend me to get the 8x8 as the Launchpad X as a beginner? Also it will help me to feel comfortably in your tutorials, setting the controller 4×4 (like this one does, mapping it) and then setting 8x8? I really appreciate your answer, thanks
