2024 Kia Telluride X-Pro (inc. 0-100) review

This is an SUV I wish we got in Australia. It's Kia's version of the Hyundai Palisade and it's only produced in left-hand drive, which means we don't get it in Australia. But, we went to the US to have a test drive to see exactly what we're missing out on with the off-road focused X-Pro version.

Do I need a car this size? No. Do I wish this was available in Aus? Absolutely!

I don’t know if it’s intentional but I realise Paul is standing on the right side of the car whereas other reviews done in Australia he is normally standing on the left side. Attention to detail very impressive.

Fantastic review Paul. The Telluride would fit in the Aussie market perfectly. I wouldn't be surprised if it became a hit.
Point of correction on the cargo space. It's actually 21 cu ft (594 L) behind the 3rd row which is class leading.

To me, Kia Telluride looks and feels much better than Hyundai Palisade. Was every existed when saw the US review pre pandemic and super disappointed when heard it's not coming to Australia 🤷‍♂

If telluride was available in aus, i would have certainly brought it over my MY22 Palisade(which is absolutely love too).
N wish more of these offroady versions come to aus.

I just bought Palisade, then today saw your video. Before starting the video my heart was sinking, as I thought finally Kia launches it here in AU

I would consider this ahead of every other vehicle mentioned IF the second row was a bench and it was paired with an engine with more torque. Good looking car.

Next time in USA, would be cool if you could get your hands in a Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness and the Ascent!. Two models that I'm sure would be popular in our market.

Would be a good contender to the Ford Everest. Need to modernise that NA V6 though!

I thought years ago when Hyundai Australia was considering bringing in either the Palisade or Kia with the Telluride, I was hoping the Kia offering as it is a much better looking platform. Alas, we were lumped with the Palisade which is quite awkward looking. I think if the Telluride was available in Australia, then they would sell quite a few. This would probably improve greatly if offered with a hybrid powertrain as this NA petrol variant is quite thirsty and would dissuade quite a few potential buyers.
