My biggest piece of advice for cinematic is shooting at 4k24fps, in 10bit 4:2:2 and grading your footage, make sure your composition of your shots is clean and everything is well exposed. And when doing landscape shots, don’t zoom just have a steady shot on a tripod or handheld

I would say keep the couch since it's so comfortable. But pull it away from the wall about 3 feet and put some ambient lighting behind it. This will give the illusion of more space and the area will look cooler.

if you wanna keep trying the aesthetic thing, id say for recording you should have you framerate at 24, shutter speed at 48, and then iso at a reasonable amount. if you dont have a cpl then get that cause it will help when filming in the day.
