I have acne even without wearing makeup. I’v been going to a dermatologist for 10 years. Acne is not due to women wearing makeup. The leading factor of acne in women is higher levels of androgen hormones which increase sebum (oil) production in the skin (PCOS). It’s due to your genetics and hormone levels. Yes, you can help lessen the affects of acne but ultimately it’s a skin disease. This girl is blessed with good genes and no cystic acne, so it’s easy for her to just simply say makeup is causing the acne.
