I can see this being very useful for screw holes as plugs take a while to make. I would be a bit concerned about the durability given it's just hot glue.

I saw this at mc too I think it’s really good and like the additional uses that you showed although I do think it’s a bit annoying that you can’t just remove the whole stick when you want to change colour as you never showed loading all those little pieces from the silicone mould back into the gun
