This feature protects your data including Messages backups, iCloud photos, notes, reminders, Apple Wallet passes, and even your device backups, and more. It's worth noting that Advanced Data Protection is currently only available to U.S. users, but it will be rolling out to the rest of the world in early 2023.

To enable Advanced Data Protection, simply go to Settings, iCloud, Advanced Data Protection, and keep in mind that this feature is optional and you can choose to enable or disable it at any time.
