I have waited 30 years for some great country swing to return. I just discovered Alex last week and I am HOOKED. He's is a composite of George Strait's smoothness, Randy Travis's rich bass voice, pure southern drawl like Ricky Skaggs and on one of his songs his backup singers sound exactly like Hank Sr.'s back up singers. Country is back! Keep writing!

we had a square dance in a small town in the smokies in the early 90s our band was called Tennessee Saturday night. we did a couple square dances each set a cake walk once a night, jack greens mom brought the cake, and dolly Parton's cousin played Sax in the band...he could play every instrument there was but he loved the sax. he played at Dollywood during the day but with us every sat night...
