pretty sure the light can be any name, as long as you go to options in particular, and change  the emitter name to whatever you named your light. It is case sensitive so be exact.

thank you, this was very useful. i actually made one particle clip when i watched this video. BUT since i dont have the Optical Flares, i didnt get to use the optical flares to move with the particles. instead i used the Lens Flare which looks awesome too. i might upload it and maybe add some music to it :D oh yeah, i love your accent, hehe where are you from?

Thank you for the great tutorial, however I am having a small problem animating the light path. When i change the light position "x" and "y" i move few frames forward and then position the light, most of the time i get sharp corners and that makes the light turn sharply. What i want and been able to do it by luck sometimes is to curve the path with no sharp corners. How do I achieve that? I hope I made my self clear since english is not my first language
