I met him and talked to him for 45 minutes after soundcheck in Brisbane in 1992, if I remember correctly. I forgot how sweet his voice was until now and just how easy he was to chat to. He was exhausted and just wanted to go to the beach but his tour manager had them on a really tight schedule. You're missed, dude. You and your 'fuschia' coloured hair. Hugs EDIT : I've mentioned this experience not to show off that me and my mates met (what turned out to be rockstars in the making). But because I just had a 'FLOWN ALMOST 30 YEARS BACK INTO MY INTIMATE MEMORIES' feeling. Which is weird and rare. Because you unfortunately/fortunately have had to racked up a minimum of 35 years on Earth to experience that GORGEOUS BEAUTIFUL sensation. But also, "so cool! I totally forgot his unique 'gently chatting' voice! At the time it didn't seem a unique thing. But it actually was. Anyway. This did happen. Plse stop texting me it didn't. That doesn't help anyone. If someone had a camera in my face while I was puking / coming down off drugs / really sick I would not be nearly this nice or jovial. I know he had deep seeded issues… but he actually seems like a really kind and gentle person. Even giggling and laughing sheepishly next to a puke bucket… lmao… I wouldn’t be laughing I’d be crying and trying to kick the camera outta her hand.

It's weird hearing them be so self-aware and genuinely funny about something so dark as Kurt's heroin addiction, it's like they're telling "Your mama" jokes lol

It's a shame that they cut most of this clip out of Montage of Heck. They kept up to 'it's all my fault', i.e. the depressing angsty part, then cut all the funny stuff that comes after. Too bad because it shows Kurt's lighter side and how well he was able to laugh at himself.

Went to his memorial in Aberdeen. I cried. It's really hard to be there without feeling the pain. I hope his soul is at peace.
