It's tripletail time!

Want to see an easy way to catch inshore tripletail?

Since tripletail are roamers that like to find and stick to structure, most people catch them near buoys and channel markers.

But today, we targeted them in a way that I had never considered, but was really effective!

We went to moored sailboats, pitched a jig under them, and caught several tripletail!

I was with Capt. Jeff Vickers and he used this exact strategy from this video to catch over 500 tripletail last year!

He was gracious enough to take me today and even though the weather was bad, we still had a blast plucking out a few tripletail from under these boats.

Just wondering what time of year this was I spend January and February in palm beach Florida every year and I’ve been breaking my neck to catch one around the Stuart/Jensen beach/Jupiter area for the past few years with no luck
