JCI Creed: The Art and Act of National Cohesion

The #JCI creed is applicable to national Cohesion, a common value that could define a great nation.

You don't need to be affiliated to JCI before you live out the creed.

Any government or society that applies the JCI creed to their processes,would experience peace , Unity and progress.

In the words of Dwight Eisenhower, 34th President of the #UnitedStates, ‘A people that values its privileges above its principles soon
looses both' .

This means that every one; from those in position of authority or in
Government to those at the grass root level, in a nation, should
prioritize a common national goal or purpose, beyond personal or
individual interest.

And there should be a healthy balance between equity and equality, inclusiveness and fairness:

No national of a Nation is more
National than any other National of that Nation both within and
outside the reach of that Nation.
Putting it in local context;

No
Nigerian is more Nigerian than any other
Nigerian both within and outside Nigeria. Therefore Government and institutions should be greater than any individual and brotherhood should exist between all citizens beyond religious or tribal affiliation.
