I saw Charlie Craven tie this fly and he didn't use the finish of the flourofiber for legs, he brought them up behind the wing case and tied them as emerging wings.
I am not sure whether this variant would improve the flies effectiveness. I haven't fished it. Thanks for the tutorial. I am so glad there are so many tutorials because I learned to tie on youtube mostly. I did take a beginners class and tied a couple of flies. Take care of the dog crying on the video.
