alright, time for some clarification:
1) yes there are people missing, this is a 30 second video, i cannot include every foreigner in the industry

2) "you included this person but not this one" yeah, i did. i know there are lots of idols from australia etc that weren't included but istg that does not mean i do not like them

3) i wanted to use a range of idols from lots of different groups and desperately tried to not include more than one idol from the same group with a few exceptions and i tried to alternate between male and female idols which led to a few other people eventually being dropped just for the sake of the edit

4) diversity of nationalities is still diversity. i've seen a lot of comments along the lines of "but they're all still asian" or "most of them are still ethnically korean so it doesn't count" but to imply that a kpop idol born in america is the same as a kpop idol born in thailand is just ignoring their individual experiences just because they're both asian. these idols have a lot to learn from each other because they come from such different backgrounds. yes, kpop and korea as a whole is still lacking in ethnic and racial diversity, but steps are being taken and i wanted to acknowledge how awesome it is for someone born half way around the world to be able to make a career for themselves in korea :)
