This is an excellent exercise. I generally hold it for 90 seconds to two minutes. It really works the hams, quads and gluts.

Okay so no bullshitting o started out doing this once a month for as long as I could. I did my first just over 1:30. 7 months of constant training later, I held a wall sit for 26:17. Consistent training is key.

Feel good? I did it for 55 seconds and my legs were shaking for like half an hour.

I do this all the time for soccer! We call it a static squat and I can do it for 5 min straight! I did it for one min and the next day I saw an inch of muscle popping off my thigh and the day before none, NO EXAGGERATION. Ever since then I've been doing 2 5 min intervals daily.

We do wall-sits for my P.E class. The longest I've gone was for 2:04 mintues.

I love this workout! Legs are the parts of my body I work out the most and this is what I usually do after a workout, when I'm resting, drinking a cup of chocolate milk.

I didn’t really feel the burn until I placed the weight in my heals. Made a huge difference.

Has anyone done this with a loaded barbell on their thighs? Today after my back squats and lunges I deadlifted a barbell, and lowered into a wall sit with the barbell on my quads. It's a great exercise but I never see anyone do it.

I fooled a girlfriend once doing this. I just told her it's magic when in truth I developed more then enough leg muscles in an over crowded detention room back in High School where there were more seats.
