David Drew: The Why Files (WF?) and the Electric Universe | Thunderbolts

The Why Files posted an Electric Universe episode in October 2023 entitled "Gravity is a Lie, Light Speed is Slow, Nothing is Real, the Universe is Electric." It was encouraging to see they got it right more often than they got it wrong.

While the EU Model accommodates many ideas dismissed by orthodox science, it does not rest on them. Its basic tenets can be tested, and many have been verified, even if the implications remain to be fully recognized. Time will tell.

Science is said to proceed in three steps. First, new theories are dismissed—then their importance denied. Finally, it's pretended they were known all along...and the initial hostility is glossed over.

Author and independent researcher David Drew offers a step-by-step analysis of the what WF? hit and missed on the ideas of the EU Model.

It's ok. He did made this known to people who had no idea about it and that's enough for me. The more intelligent among these people will investigate more and will eventually find more details.

I was a huge fan of the WF up until the EU episode. The reason is that I realized AJ was steering his analysis towards a defined end point and not just presenting "both sides" of an issue. It was heartbreaking for me to realize this. Not only did I come away with a bad taste in my mouth about this episode, but it made me question every single other episode he produced. He used one tiny part of one corner of the EU to discredit the entire enterprise. It was like calling Bruce Lee a weakling because his pinky toe was missing a muscle...

I just watched this Why Files episode. He gave a great thousand foot overview, and I thought it ended on a great note. I was also disappointed in his seemingly shallow dismissal of EU, however. The objections he raised weren't showstoppers. I appreciate you guys!

A thoughtful criticism of a ... relatively thoughtful criticism. WF is popping. Apparently un ordinary thinkers find it both funny and stimulating. But what thrills me is seeing conversations across platforms that thinking people cross. Hat's off to EU for stepping down a bit to address that conversation.

Thank you for this video. I love the Why Files but that particular video needed addressing.

I was appalled when he made the claims he did about Wal Thornhill. I have been following EU/Thunderbolts for over a decade now and I watched many times when Wal would make predictions only to have them actually happen. He was brilliant.

I'm not going to pretend to understand all the scientific theories however one thing this channel has convinced of is that Mars' geography is the direct result of electrical discharges.

When I saw that WF episode a while back, I wasn't surprised at the conclusions it drew, and the assertions that Walt was a quack. WF doesn't really do more than regurgitate stuff gleaned from other sites, and often fails to see the massive elephant staring right at them. I don't expect WF to be more than an entertaining regurgitation of the standard stuff. Groundbreaking is one thing WF isn't.

Now I know at least I'm not the only one in the electrical universe community that watches Why files and I felt the exact same way you did what I watched it so my feelings were vindicated thank you man I agree with you 100% I love the electrical universe theory I think it is a solution to a lot of to all the questions that were looking for answers for peace out into the world have a great day

I also noticed The WF? episode on Electric Universe was a bit off. It seemed as though he might have had to take that stance for obvious reasons. The whole episode was off somehow. I can't put my finger on it.
