Fun fact it was NOT a Whale that ate Jonah in the original Biblical tale, it was legitimately a Giant Fish. We know this because there was a Hebrew word specifically for whale, but they don’t use it, instead it’s referred to as Dag Gadol, which literally translates to Giant Fish.

Fun fact: Apparently they gave the camel the monocle and it liked it, so the camel was very calm. This was from the Larry and Lunt movie commentary on the DVD.

Fun fact: veggietales has a cancelled movie, The bob and larry movie. The film was gonna be about how bob, larry, and the rest of the veggie crew met and started veggietales. Also they were gonna add actual humans in the film. Sadly, the film didn't make it but the materials are lost and concept art are shown. According to phil vischer (creator of veggietales) has the copy of the script but can't release it due to the franchise now onwed by universal pictures

Veggie tales is honestly such a great way to incorporate the stories of the Bible into a fun tv show for kids that’s also watchable for adults. It’s not like some early 2000’s movies that kids like but adults hate, these are genuinely great.
