I’m an older lady (60+) and I’ve been jumping rope about 30 minutes a session several days each week since May 2020. I found the jumping rope has strengthened my hips, which is so important as we age. Hip strength is related to good balance. So please add hips to the parade of body parts that are made stronger from jumping rope!

I can only speak from my experience but jump rope has been amazing for me combatting anxiety and depression

I have been doing 15-20 mins/day for about a month now, and am really feeling the burn in my core and thighs. Shoulders and back, slightly--but definitely my core and thighs! I feel a definite difference, and this is one of the easiest, cheapest, and quickest workouts I've ever done that works my whole body!

I am 58 and about 70 pounds overweight. I can only do about 300 jumps in reps of 30 as my heart is hitting max quite quickly. Only been doing this for a few days, I can feel it working my lower back more than anything. I can't wait to get better and fitter. Thanks for the inspiration chaps, Let's get it done ;-).

One of my gym mate regularly criticize me while iam doing jump rope in gym for 20-30 min daily ..he will say jump rope will not help in weightloss instead only exercise like running, abs, squats will !!
. BUT guess what after 45 days of continuous jump rope I had showed my result that I had reduced from 107 to 98 kg through proper jump rope and normal calorie deficit diet [Do the thing] #jumpropedudes 🔥🔥🔥🔥⭐💪💪💪...Proud of myself yet a long way to go 🤗🔥🔥

You guys have been an inspiration for me, from overweight to now being able to see my own abs, I started jumping rope everyday with your workouts and now it's part of my daily life. You've created an amazing community JRD! Keep up that great work!

I'm doing 15 minutes of jump rope every day and it's helped me lower my blood pressure and lose weight, which is great. To those who claim that jumping rope isn't effective for weight loss, consider what you eat. If you eat fast food meals like pizzas and burgers, and other food that containes a lot of calories you won't lose a lot of weight doing jumpropes, so don't blame jumprope for your lack of weight loss. Because jumprope is one of the best workout exercises you can find and do at home.

I’ve been doing a variety of your workouts and some (not a lot) weightlifting for just over a year now and I’ve gone from slightly overweight non-muscly dude to slim athletic dude who gets comments on his physique often. I’m still going, with no plans to stop. Thank you for your channel.

I’ve been skipping every day before my workout. I’ve been seeing a lot of improvements in leg growth especially with leg day. And just improvements in general. Love the exercise. Used to do it with boxing but can’t stop. It’s been helping with coordination.

I'm 40 years old, 5'8, 185 pounds (20 pounds overweight). Most of my weight is in my stomach area. I can do 60-70 jumps in less than one minute. I'm on day two and can do 8 sets of 60-70 jumps (500 per day). After 60 to 70 jumps, I need almost 5 minutes to recover. I'm completely out of breath. 😢 I haven't worked out a day in my life, and I'm hoping that this will get easier. I read that doing more than 500 jumps as a beginner isn't advisable. The goal is to gradually build up.

This is why I love jump rope! The only problem in jump rope is that, it's very addictive. Thank you for a nice explanation JRD! Hoping to learn new tricks, and combos! 💪

I used to be a runner but have recently lost interest in running and am looking at different forms of cardio. I discovered your channel today and will definitely be giving jumping rope a try. Thank you for this informative video.

Jump rope kicks ass! I lost 13 pounds in one month by doing 70 minute (2 sets of 35 min) jump rope sessions. Along with 6 mile walks I feel like I get better at day to day movement even with my heavy weight. I just love how easy it is to burn 1000 calories an in hour. My only regret is wishing i had started earlier 😅

It would be so awesome if you guys would do some more vids with your Mom, or aunties, or anyone over 55. It would be very inspiring. Also I could use it to convince my mom to jump rope. I already showed her Chef Babette’s mind blowing 71st birthday workout!

I can do 200-250 at a time. But I have been doing 2 sets each morning so far. I want to start doing 3 sets daily for each week. I hope to increase the jumps per set to 350 or more by the end of Sept, so I can do at least 1000 jumps each morning before going to work.
