Environmental Justice 101

Negative environmental impacts are felt disproportionately more often in marginalized and disadvantaged communities, especially those that are primarily lived in by people of color. Derek Nichols, UB Sustainability, and Jeremy Sanford (MUP 2022), hosted an introduction on environmental justice that provided an overview of the history of the movement, its causes, and its connection to higher education.
