Every year, our journey to the Tour de France takes us to the top of Mount Teide in Tenerife, for a crucial altitude training camp.

Had the pleasure to see the riders in Tenerife last year during their pre-tour training camp. It was mightily impressive to see the work they put in every day with the stunning backdrop that is Tenerife. Thanks for the superb insight into a training camp!

Love this! Ineos! You should film one of these in Egan's hometown. It is more than 2700m of altitude. The surrounding summits are fantastic. Needless to say, Egan has all the KOMs in the region haha

Great behind the scenes stuff. I am also on tenerife for cycling once a year, when standing at the Teide national park sign at El Retamar on the 18. Feb 2019 a black car stops on the other side, seconds after that a guy in a complete Team Sky dress flew up the mountain and stops at the car, grab a long bib and a warm jacket in Team Sky Design. When I realized whats going on there, I try to get a photo, it was Geraint Thomas, but he was already on the bike again. Just an awesome moment.

My first trip to Tenerife we took the wrong route from north to south and ended up on the road to and from Masca, bloody scary in a car let alone on a Bike ! Amazing scenery though.
