Talk's Peter Cardwell is joined by writer and author of Not Zero Ross Clark and head of new environment & economy for The New Economics Foundation Chaitanya Kumar to debate Ed Miliband's Net Zero targets.

The aim to achieve Net Zero by 2030 however may lead to higher bills and job losses which the trio debate about.

Miliband really has no clue about what he's doing, and it seems evident to everyone except him and the front bench.

The UK build its first wind farm in 1991!

33 years we have been building so called green energy and everyone is worse off because of it!
Our energy bills literally don’t stop going up.

The government blames the international market.
But if you look at the market data. It’s been remarkably stable over the past 30 years.

Why the rush? Because the Labour MPs can personally make millions out of it, before they get kicked out of government. And they already are.

All Milliband is doing is making the electricity companies a fortune at the consumers expense

In Australia, our Miliband equivalent, Chris Bowen, promised a $275 per household reduction by 2025. The reality is that bills have gone up by $1, 000 per household. This is what happens when you are governed by clowns!

That’s why it will never be cheap energy yes it might be cheaper in years to come but that’s only the renawable energy price 😮 but because you need gas as a backup, you need to pay twice so it will never ever be cheaper 🙄

MP's aren't bothered about the cost of energy as they will claim it for free on their second homes and vote themselves an inflation linked salary rise no matter how much prices go up.

When Miliband tells you your energy bill will come down by up to £300, he doesn't tell you how much he is going to raise it first. A £5, 000 per year energy bill in 2030 could be brought down to £4, 700 per year and Labour will tell you they haven't lied to you.

Net Zero stands for the ammount of money you have left in your bank account after you've paid your household energy bills!
