I finished my theater this year with 5xSCL-6, 2xSCL-7, and 4xRevel W783 for Atmos. I didn't really have the opportunity to demo much and relied on youtube university when putting my room together, but I have been completely blown away with how good my setup turned out.

One thing I would like to see in the Audio Advice design tool is a feature that tells the customer how long of speaker wire is needed for each speaker based off the design the tool suggests as well as the wire gauge. Maybe a quick link to recommended wire from their website. Since the tool is FREE unintendedly, they could probably make a few bucks quick linking to things like speaker wire, in wall wire, wireless subwoofer adapters and etc. Maybe even recommending acoustic treatment placement in the future as well all from the design tool.

The HDI 3800’s are great! I’ve had them for a year, previously coming from Klipsch RF7i’s. The JBL’s are more refined and balanced than the Klipsch, yet the compression drivers and waveguides still provide excellent snap and presence without being bright or in your face. “Slightly forward”. Excellent midrange too. The bass is a bit light compared to the RF7i’s but still solid. I highly recommend them!

Whats the difference in sound quality of in wall jbl synthesis vs floor standing jbl synthesis? If I can hide the 3 floor standers behind the screen would that be better vs installing them in a wall?

Wouldn't mind the synthesis speakers laid out with proper dispersion but it wouldn't be driven by the JBL SDR-38 when the SDR-35 did not measure well.
