Pantalica is one of the most extraordinary sites in Sicily. The deep canyon carved by the Anapo river between the Iblei mountains is crossed by the layout of an old railway track that follows the course of the river. The rocky walls of the canyon house an ancient necropolis, a myriad of ancient rock tombs carved into the rock. All immersed in a luxuriant and uncontaminated nature. Not to be missed if you travel to Sicily.
