-always the newest packages

I used to use Arch when I was young and I loved it. For the last 10-15+ years I haven't owned any machine so I don't know how Arch has evolved.

I used Arch for two years and although I had a good and enriching experience, the occasional problems that occured after updating werent fun to do deal with. My bootloader got wiped twice after updating, updates messed up my package configurations and one time after updating and booting up my system, I got a black screen. I managed to fix almost all problems that I have come across but eventually I got tired of it and migrated to Fedora.

Arch is a good all around general purpose distro. Ive used it on desktops and laptops for years, and it makes a great home file server too.

Arch is possibly the most important Linux distro, due to the fact its the perfect filter to edge case bugs that aren't caught in the debugging, allowing for stable versions to exist

I switched to Arch because of AUR packages. Because they just work right away. Unlike other Debian based distros, they keep returning errors out of nowhere even tho the procedures of installation of packages were correct.
