Revolutionizing Health Services Research through Design Thinking

The volunteer leadership of AcademyHealth’s Paradigm Project provide an overview of the initiative and its progress. Afterwards, a panel of members of the Project’s Steering Council and Learning Community discuss in a moderated conversation their experience using the project’s “design thinking” approach and progress in developing potential, disruptive innovations designed to address challenges facing the field that fall into six categories: (1) HSR’s purpose/ethos; (2) questions studied: (3) people involved; (4) data/methods; (5) translation/dissemination/implementation; (6) incentives.
