Who Wins? | iPad Pro (2018) vs Samsung Galaxy Tab S4

Here is the full spec comparison between Apple's 11 inch iPad Pro (2018) & Samsung's Galaxy Tab S4.

I want to get a tablet primarily for gaming, video editing, comic reading, and video streaming. I'm more of an Android guy but I wouldn't mind trying out an iPad since it seems more powerful. What would you suggest out of these two? Price isn't too much of a factor. I just want to know what any of you would suggest.

A pretty reasonable comparison. Though you could start by presenting the tablets side by side using the same scale. The iPad is a fraction shorter than the S4, however you have it quite a bit longer in your image. I know it's nit-picking, but to a prospective buyer, you are giving the impression of a lot more real estate on the iPad than the S4. You get an tiny amount more due to its 4:3 aspect ratio.

The Tab S4 has OLED, including Pencil, SD Slot, Headphone Jack, Usb c is usable, free Os, Widgets and is cheaper. Sorry, but the Ipad has no chance.

I know there are more bezzels on the tab s4 but i think in a tablet that is a slightly good thing because you need something to hold

I am wondering which tablets should i choose, could anyone give me some advice?
I am a university students and i want to buy a tablet to TAKE NOTES in the lecture and do some daily routines (ie watch youtube, play games, check email ... ... ) Currently i have a iphone6s plus and a samsung notebook 9always NP900X3T-K02 on hand. I could only afford it (include tablet of the wifi version and the pen) if it is below 600 USD. I am now considering the samsung tab S4 and the ipad 9.7 inch with extra paid apple pen. Could anyone give me some useful advice on which one should i choose or if you have any other better recommendations, please comment below. Much thx and Merry Christmas!

Well google already officially ended android update support for tablets long time ago so tab s4 and no other tablets will ever get android 9 or other updates

So tab s4 is just 2016 hardware built too late in 2018 and running a dying os

Where as this iPad Pro will get updated through like iOS 16 or maybe more

A STANDARD APPLE OPTION should be what it does “luna display”, but without external drive like “luna display”! And then, WHY APPLE does not develop a SINGLE OPERATING SYSTEM between macOS e iOS?

Apple provides five years of software support and updates at least. 2013 iPad air still works great on latest OS and can sell for 40% of original new discounted purchase price. iPads can be purchased certified refurbished 20 to 30% less. Itune apps far superior to android tablet apps. Can use cloud and share work files with MacBook eliminating need for large storage capacity. Android tablets are out of date after two years, slow updates, lag, and usually sell for less than 25% of new purchase price after only three years. If you absolutely must create files or documents, have a mouse and keyboard, mobile computing and fle management look at surface pro tablets, not android tablets. Windows provides multiple years of software support and updates.

When Adobe releases photoshop this year I'll be getting the iPad. However, I've never liked apple tbh and been all about android. If it comes to android tablets too then I'll get the tab s4. We shall see

1.650 euro vs 650 euro, I think that there is nothing to talk owned a note pro 12, bought for 450 euro's only problem I broke the screen and repair is higher than value, if it wasn't for this reason, it still worked great after 2 years and with no update...
Another reason that tab s4 is better is that you can use any external memory as external hard drive or flash memory, apple will never allow this and its a very annoying thing. (Asked them people at applecare and said that ipad pro is no computer and this is the reason that the type c port will never be able to do this, hahahahahahahahahah)
