Kumi Naidoo is a life-long social justice campaigner hailing from South Africa and has served as the Executive Director of Greenpeace International and Secretary General of Amnesty International. He’s a tireless movement builder, a journey that began for him in the struggle against apartheid. “The struggle for justice is a marathon, not a sprint,” says Naidoo. “If you think we’ll win a struggle against a massive injustice with five or ten interventions, then you are misleading yourself. This is a time to intensify and agitate resistance to injustice and to do it peacefully.”
