Writing With Your Audience in Mind

When we write, there's probably nothing more important than understanding who our audience is. It's critical to understand who your audience is, not as an abstraction, but as actual human beings you are engaging in a conversation.

Thanks, I was looking for something to share with a 12th-grade class. There were a couple of other videos, but they were for younger kids. I like how this video helps the writer really focus on the audience as real people, something we (ahem, I) sometimes forget to do.
