Xiaomi SU7 is the first car in the world made by a phone company. It's so competent that I think it doesn't need to imitate Porsche. It's a Xiaomi Car. Why is that not enough?

As impressive is the car, I am equally impressed by the reviewer. Sounded so polished and through.

Apple spent billions and a whole decade. Didn’t even manage to build a mock up concept! Kudos to Xiaomi! Very impressive

People said it looks like a Porsche, and controversial comments are made upon that. But now I’ve heard a lot of people say it actually drive like a Porsche… now it’s a compliment for sure.

the reviewer impeccable english is almost making me forget that he is reviewing perhaps the most impressive EV to date!

You watching this might be surprised of how good Sean is. He is a professional F1 narrator in China with decades of experience. This YouTube channel is just his hobby project.

The fact that Xiaomi, a company that is even younger than Apple, has managed to build a car in such a short time is truly amazing. Xiaomi can be really proud of that.

Call it a cheaper Tycan copycat all you want but the ecosystem is very impressive. Also you don't even need to use Xiaomi phones, everything works with any android or iphones, something that Apple will never let you have this kind of freedom

All Xiaomi Products that I use is Superb and the Quality is Exceptional. Also the Smart Home Ecosystem is Excellent. I hope Xiaomi launch Cars in the Philippines since Filipino's starting to love Electric Cars

I want one. But America will never allow this car on our market. They're afraid to compete with these chinese electric cars and I see why.

For their first car, they nailed more crucial things than a lot of big car manufacturers.
As a cur guy, my points:
-It's not an SUV Hallelujah. Thank you Xiaomi. I could run out of the world from those huge dumb SUVs.
-Physical buttons (even if it is an extra but the option is there)
-A dashboard in FRONT of you not just on the middle console. Huge W in my book.
-A genuinely good looking car.
-A responsive middle computer/console.

Hate them or love them, China is doing really really good, they are leaders in most industries. The only reason you wouldn't like them is because of their fierce competition. It's getting increasingly difficult to compete with them, its super impressive what they have achieved, absolutely mind-blowing.

Wow!!!! This car looks amazing, Xiaomi did achieve the impossible. Tim Cook probably had a preview of this car and immediately stopped Apple's car development. Great job, Xiaomi!!

Imo, it's not a straight up copy of a Porsche, but it was merely inspired by the design and philosophy of Porsche. Having seen lots of imitation of European cars coming out of China, this one is far from those. This feels like there was effort into making this work well in terms of Xiaomi's standard of what a Xiaomi car should be and merely influenced by an already established car manufacturer like Porsche. It's a great first attempt from anyone let alone a phone manufacturer. If this was available globally, no doubt this will disrupt the mid to high-end EV market. Great video btw.

In terms of device ecosystem support, this is how it should have been: no exclusivity. 👏👏👏

Who thaught Xiaomi could pull this challenge up of being from a smartphone manufacturing brand to making cars. Kudos to Xiaomi, they also nailed the pricing.

I was able to drove it 2 weeks ago during my visit in Beijing, let me just say it's not up to Taycan(2023) level yet but is close, way better than EQE, Model y for sure, I haven't be able to test drive the new model 3 yet, can't wait to compare both. I do agree with the video, Su7 is a really well polished car, it's on par with any premium German cars, but Xiaomi please find your own design language, it's a shame that such nice car and all people talking about is being a copycat of Porsche
