You would expect the Jag to be a big seller in the UK but even the Brits prefer the German cars. So many more Audis, BMWs and Mercs in the UK compared to Jags

meh, I still prefer a Mercedes or BMW. Not a huge Audi fan... but I do like Jags as well

Thankfully I've had the chance to ride in a Mercedes, Audi, BMW and Jag. The Jag's are no better, and no worse than the German competition on most metrics. However I do like Jag's styling and design much better than the German rivals. The only real drawback is that Jag needs to bring back the manual transmission. Thanks.

If you want to drive an Jag you need 3 of them, one for driving and two for the repair shop. For German cars the ratio is 1:1 and for Volvo it is 1.

I'm not a big fan of modern German cars because of their reliability issues, but definitely Jaguar has no right to make fun of them. One of my neighbors had a Jaguar which was only 1 year old with very little mileage, and within a few months he had to replace the fuel tank float twice; I can't think of any other car (not even a Chinese one) to have this issue in such a short period of time. Let alone the number of times we come across Jaguars on the side of the road with their hoods open waiting for help or recovery.
