Parrot Skycontroller 2 Hobby-Grade Battery Telemetry Verification

This video shows that with an adapted aftermarket hobby-grade 2S 7.4v LiPo battery the battery's charge percentage remaining telemetry is accurately displayed on FreeFlightPro's start screen and on the flight screen. This battery is connected with the Red&Black main wires only. No need for any other wire connections. The stock battery's Blue Thermister lead/tap is not needed for the battery charge percentage remaining to be displayed. The blue Thermister lead is only needed for the stock battery during charging for the SC2 to monitor battery temperature. The Thermister lead is not needed in the adapted setup as the aftermarket hobby-grade battery is charged with an aftermarket balance charger.

Would it work to use the after market charger connected to the SC2 thru the jack that's used by the OEM charger? Meaning go banana plugs from charger adapted ( soldered ) to a mini jack that fits SC2.?

This does not work.i have tried always to connect a battery, even taking off the circuit board and soldering to new batteries. When the light flashes red, it's indicating no connection to the sky controller 2. It will only charge my phone
