As far as I can tell, this song is... something about the folly of faith, and wishing without action.

Much of this album is about failing to act, wishing and expecting to be given, and then suffering the consequences of such a thing. The entire concept of the "Blackstar", just from the songs mentioning it, all exhibit this principle. Wishing for something but making no move towards obtaining your wish will leave you settled in the darkness, still waiting.

You can romanticize such a thing all you want, but at the end of the day, you've wasted your life.

Regardless of what mythology is represents, I am more amazed by Klayton's ability to combine styles that are completely different into such a seamless sound like this. Officially my favorite song from this album.
