I really enjoy your videos. Your relaxed style is such a welcome contrast to many zippy fast cut videos on YouTube. Your music in the background is soft and gentle. Visual composition is excellent as well.

I enjoy the hunt…a very primordial feeling and then the reveal. It’s what stories have captivated in the human imagination for ever.

Super images again Alexis, the detail and colours, especially hand stacked in the field are really tremendous. Thanks for sharing these.

I love how relaxing your videos are and always so fun to wait and see how the shots turned out. I also really like how you put the bloopers in the outro to show people that were not perfect. Many want to do youtube but scared of not being thats ok!

Hi Alexis… yours macro images are amazing !
In one of your first videos you touched very shortly on your focus stacking technique…
Would you make a video, like a tutorial, where you explain in details your technique and how flash is being used (high sync, or just single shot)… thank you very much in advance…

Hello from Finland! I really like your videos, but I have a small wish: Please keep the whole picture visible for at least a couple of seconds. Now when I'm getting ready to look at the image in whole, it disappears as soon as it gets its full size and that is a little annoying :) Keep up good work!

Beautiful subject. Lovely presentation and edit. Stunning results! Can't help but feel that in-camera focus stacking is a bit of a cheat, but you clearly have the skill and fieldcraft to have gotten great images yourself without it, but if you've got it you might as well use it! 👍👍👍

Great as usual. By the way, where did you get the raynox holder for what appears to be a cygnustech?

Excellent tutorial. Thanks. However, which microphone you are using. Further, can we get the same quality photos with fullframe cameras and 105mm Macro lens.

Hi, Enjoy your video.May I ask how you take your stack. Does your camera do it or do you move in and out TIA

Always nice videos, thx! But: When I find in the early morning those species and even if I point to them, they fly away, and transporting them on a Here it is impossible for sure. And how do you keep your camera still taking stacks when your arms spread in front of you?

Could you please tell me how you do focus bracketing using Laowa lenses, given that they are manual lenses?

I don't know if it's me or my gear but I can't get anywhere near this?
