i just purchased the EV 30 on white for a backyard party. Absolutely nice, more than i expected. Clean sound. I had 100 plus people, which was more than enough sound for the crowd. This thing is very loud and easy to assemble. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the feedback. I just bought 2 30 m’s, first time buying a subs altogether but super lightweight for me to use. I’m impressed and I’m sure my neighbors are too but It was nice to get feedback compare to the bigger model.

I just bought 1 Evolve 30m for my solo acoustic gig and its amazing. I sold my Bose L1 model 1S to buy it and I’m so glad I did. The Bose was great but it was very heavy and didn’t have the mixer or the app. I have the rolling bag being delivered tomorrow. Then I can just roll it into a gig and set it up in about 5 minutes.

Hey, this is SO great, thank you! I'm a singer-songwriter and just purchased this from Sweetwater Sound as my first PA. The technical manual's set up instructions were a bit confusing for me, and this video really helped me understand the ease of set up and confirmed that it's as beautiful of a system as I thought when I bought it, and perfect for what I need it for. Great review.

I tested the 30M and 50 in a store today. I was very pleasantly surprised at how full it sounded for its size! Of course, the 50 was louder and fuller sounding with better high end, but it didn't sound a huge amount better than the 30M IMHO. If you are doing larger crowds above 200 people, the higher SPL, bigger sounding 50 is the way to go. For smaller gigs under 200 people, the 30M is plenty. The size and weight of the 30M is fantastic considering the amount of great sound it puts out and having that great mixer built in negates the need to bring an external mixer.

I've recently purchased a white Evolve 30M and it's so awesome that I ordered a second one today to run them as a stereo pair. The app is fabulous and the sound of the speaker is even better! I've also ordered a second Maui 5 GO for smaller situations and when battery power is required. I may even use them as side fill stage monitors if the need arises whilst using the Evolve 30Ms for front of house. I sold all my ageing (and very heavy!!!!) DB Technologies Opera 405, Opera 210, Basic 400, Sub 15, Mackie SRM350V2 and HK Audio Lucas Impact speakers. They all sounded great and I could easily scale my system up or down depending on the size of the event. Those days are now over and I'm now too old to lug heavy gear.... So 2 x Evolve 30M and 2 x Maui 5 GO is now the best way for me with the option of adding a compact sub or two for larger events.

Seems like an ideal setting for me, I'm a one man band who plays mostly tropical music (Merengue, Salsa, some Rock, ballads & boleros) in Puerto Rico. I use a Yamaha keyboard, a Boss Drum Machine and a couple of microphones for me and anyone else who wants to sing. But these PAs are almost always constructed with a guitar playing musician in mind, not a keyboardist like me, so it worries me if I'm going to get that punch I need for the bass of my keyboard. Based on your demonstration I think the 30M would be powerful enough for what I need. Thank You, Blessings from San Juan 🇵🇷 !!!.

How do they compare to LD Systems Maui 11 G3?

i play in a hard rock band. I was wondering if this system would be good for us? Specifically in volume over live acoustic drums. I was wanting to mic the kick drum and snare, mic my guitar amp line out the bass player and keyboard with two vocalist. We usually play outside for about 100 people. Would this system be enough or would i need something bigger like the 50m or is even that too small?

Thinking about getting the 30Ms in white. I currently have JBL Eon 615s and it's getting tedious hauling those, let alone subs. Lightweight and portable but still effective is the route I'm trying to go.

I appreciate the review as I already bought my 30M. Have you ever reviewed the mixer settings? I'm struggling with optimizing the sound.

Could you show how you pair the two systems together I thought it was Bluetooth pairing but obviously not I can't seem to get mine to pair together using the out from one and the 5/6 input for the other

some things worth mentioning: amplifier class not mentioned, no effects like reverb.

Best way to connect two 30m? Should I use one (master) as a mixer and the 2nd (slave) as basic?

I sold my non battery powered LD Systems Maui 5 as it had the glaring omission of no dedicated XLR output to allow connection to another speaker. I'm replacing it with a much more capable Evolve 30M.

Thank you for this informative review. Question: Can the mixer accommodate four instruments and four vocal mics? I can't quite tell.

For someone who mainly performs outside in Florida, would it be wise to get a 30m or just get the 50m? I use amo sims for guitar and sing with a foot drum that goes into the pa

Would you recommend two setups for reception work??? Most weddings now I’m doing are 120 or less.

I just got a pair of the 30s. I set one 30 to Left and the other to right. What's your recommendations for hooking up to a DJ controller with left and right XLR outputs? Left channel to line 1 of left speaker and right channel to line 2 of right speaker? does it make a differences?
