What we learned is the current GMT clones are quite good and have a 70 hours power reserve, too. Rolex stopped long ago being high tech, or innovative. I suppose this is fair enough when one is so busy, shipping 1M+ watches every year!😂

you can also tell the bracelet clasp. the fake clasp has a very round edges on the clasp while the real one is very sharp and you can feel it. at 6:14 you can tell by the pics on the real one is very sharp while fake is very dull edges.

These videos basically show you how much Rolex overcharges for their watches. You are paying a massive mark-up for a name, and it takes a literal expert to distinguish a $15, 000 Rolex from a $600 Chinese knock-off.

I really love those real vs fake videos, it's a fun challenge to try and guess the real one. I did guess correctly (before the magnification shots) but i wasn't sure, what really made me choose the one on the right was the finishing of the case/bracelet. The real one has an finer/thiner/smoother and better executed brushing and the light reflection is more uniform on all parts. Can't wait for the next one !

I choose "b" as the real one due to the cyclops window is centered and the date font is smaller compared to the "a" selection. Thank you!

The "double oval" in the laser edged crown was there before in some models - it actually identifies the AR coating used in the crystal or if the crystal isa service crystal. Anyhow - oduble oval means the crystal has AR coating. As Rolex finally started applying that to the sports and divers models too.

I saw on another channel to remove one screw from the bracelet and look for chamfering on the inside of the bracelet where the screw goes into the bracelet on the non visible side of the bracelet!

The only notable difference on the first comparison picture at the beginning is the date magnification. The clone one seemed too big of a magnification?
