So proud of you doc Deo! You have been given a wonderful opportunity to dive not only in the 3rd deepest part of the ocean but also to dive with the legend Sir Vescovo. You make a great team. A bit sad that palastics have travelled through that deep. Sana maging eye-opener ito sa ating lahat. Beautiful footage. All the best doc!

Thank you for including Filipino scientists in this journey, marking their first visit to the Emden Deep in the Philippine Trench. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of many more such expeditions.

So we finally have a vessel capable of visiting anywhere on the ocean floor (as far as we know, at least). Pretty amazing how long it took to get there. We’ve been exploring oceans for centuries.

You’ve been done an extraordinary job for finding the hull of the USS Johnston, it was very amazing!!! When I saw a video says the Johnston had been found in 2019 there was only the broken stern, propellers, gun mounts, several metal pieces and some pipes, so I realized that it’s only some pieces and not the entire ship, and in that video they sad that they will not go any deeper because there ROV can only dive to 6000m and if they tries to make it dive even a little deeper they might lose it. When I heard that I thought that the main part of this ship and the other wrecks of the Taffy 3 task group at the Battle of Leyte Gulf will never be found. I was really surprised that some one came back in only two years and even found the hull at 6500m deep... So are there any more plans for go deeper and find more wrecks in this year? Hopefully you can find some Japanese carrier wrecks like the Zhikaku or Taiho or Shokaku at that area (The Philippine sea) also.

Bravo Dr. Deo Onda and to Marine scientist Victor.
My take away here:. PHILIPPINES should ban single use plastics and products with plastic packaging. It's killing our fishes and we're destroying their habitat. #CallToEarth
