'The Second Jungle Book: Mowgli & Baloo' (Main Title). John Scott

I watched this film as a kid. Ah the memories.

Another thing I noticed about this film other than the opening is that there r soldiers (In khaki uniforms) serving in the British raj just like in The Jungle Book (1994). There is a colonel, Colonel Henry Reece (B.J. Hogg) who is good, just, respectable but less stern than Colonel Geoffrey Brydon (Sam Neill) in the 1994 film. There's also a captain, Captain Ward (Hal Fowler) who is good, loyal, polite but different than the evil 😈 Captain William Boone (Cary Elwes) in the 1994 film. Like Boone, Captain Ward has an interest in hunting but does not become greedy & betray the colonel. Captain Ward is basically Captain Boone the way he *should've* been.

The opening had different music 🎶 but was pretty much the same as the Jungle Book (1994), showing us the Map of the indian jungle 🇮🇳 As the screen zooms in, we get a closer look at Shere khan the tiger 🐅 🐯

Captain ward: "Molly, perhaps we can organise a tiger 🐅 shoot"

Captain Boone: "Good. Like to bag me a tiger" 🐅

Another two things that the two Captains have in common is the animal they prefer to hunt & they're smart choice of words, intelligence.

Boone: "But i can assure u, sir. I intend to investigate this business, personally"

Ward: "Yes. Lets talk about it sensibly"

Colonel Henry Reece: "Hello. Take this wild thing off the table immediately"

"This simply isn't the done thing"

Colonel Geoffrey Brydon: "Look here. Ur all soldiers in the British army. Ur under my command. And I order u to return to the fort immediately".

"Its not done, u hear? Its just not done!"

The two colonels r good, just, respectable & sophisticated but I think Col Reece is more humorous & less stern than Col Brydon. They both sound like each other too in terms of giving orders & wisdom.
