I used to be a callaway fan Rick until last year when I tried the mavrik. I took the plunge last year and bagged the titleist tsi3 and I'm glad I did. In my view this is the best driver I have ever gamed and my first ever Titleist club. This will be staying in my bag for years to come I love it

Personally, to get 4 more yards consistently on a new driver is pretty impressive. Technology has greatly improved the equipment over the past 10-12 years, so to get that much more yardage is quite a feat. More importantly, as you mentioned, being more forgiving over the whole face is more important. Great review, Rick!!

I just switched from TM M6 to Epic Max. I am 56 not in shape with less than stellar swing speed. I hit both drivers on trackman. The epic was 20+ yds longer consistently and the mishits were less skewed. a 2 club difference for any golfer is a great thing. The distance difference has carried to the course as well. I am seeing parts of the fairway i have never seen before.

Thank you for finally addressing the forgiveness aspect. It really annoys me when people say the max distance not changing means new drivers aren't really new. They are pretty maxed out on how fast the can make drivers. Now, they are focusing on increasing your average drive distance, not max distance

If a driver is slightly longer and more forgiving, that seems to be a credible difference. I have the epic flash sub zero, and interested in the LS.

My weakness has always been drawing a driver on command and by how much. Put the Epic Max in my bag and played first round with it today. It's EPIC! It's the most controllable driver I've ever owned by far. I shot one over par today and I credit it to getting the ball in the fairways 90% of the time. Draw, fade, frozen rope! If I missed the fairway, it wasn't by much. When you drive it well, it builds confidence. I swing about 114 and it would carry 285+/- and roll out to 300 in most cases with draw swing, a little less on the fade. (70 comp ball) Can adjust from 11* to 14* loft. Played it in default 12*. Came to find how to change all the shaft adjustments to fine tune to my swing. Great video as usual.
