I think people just don't get it that how much progress it is.
I remember 10 years ago, a robot like this cost over $1M（Honda ASIMO).
Now this robot is way way way better than 10 years ago, with lower cost.

What I am imagining is a central AI on the cloud, i.e. your own AI assistant, specifically allocated to your account. You basically give commands to the AI software and the AI controls the robot. In that sense, the 'soul' and consciousness of the robot is basically in the cloud, but the body is in your room. Like in the film Avatar. So, I guess it's no different that a Google Home Hub type of a set up.
