I was on the streets for about 7 years, let me tell you, when someone actually cares about you it’s the best feeling in the world. Most people saw me as a mentally insane dirty girl who shouldn’t be touched, but one man came to me and he sat down on the ground next to me and asked how I was doing. I talked to him for a while and he gave me his beautiful sweater. The price tag was $467 and when he had hugged me I couldn’t even cry nor laugh I just felt so much joy. He is now my boyfriend and I have the number 467 tattooed on my arm.
