They pulled acheron cuz she's "OP", We pulled acheron so i can speed through story, SU and Daily's, we are not the same. Unless Fei has a technique that's better than Acheron she's just someone that does damage. QoL people QoL overworld farming -1 hour, SU 1.5x FASTER.

Yeah this is the important topic. I missing a lot of FUA premium units, so to get Fei Xiao and her team same investment like getting Acheron . Since i suspect Acheron will return in 2.6, this comparison is important for newbie to decide with team to build

Regarding the power creep potential on Acheron - She has been out for a while, which might imply that power creep could come sooner (as @EODGamer says in this video). The problem with that logic is that Jiaoqiu was clearly released to be a best-in-slot for her team. By power creeping her (particularly by having bosses that are highly resistant to debuff), you would also be imposing power creep on him as well. Considering that he is so recent (literally still on banner, just one banner before Feixiao), I think that the Acheron team composition is probably safer long-term than is being implied here.

One thing that Acheron does still have going for her is that she still is a one-size-fits-all charactera in terms of content. Fei just isn't as good at aoe scenarios, so if you aresomeone who struggles with content like pure fiction, Acheron will do more for you, while still carrying you with ease in all other content as well.

disagree with feixiao being super flexible. she is pretty much tied to robin and high frequency sustain like aventurine. Also works better with high frequency sub-dps/debuffer. im really afraid that her BiS team is already here and she wont get much better. Plus she has worse scaling in exchange for more self-buffs, which tends to age worse (jingliu).

If we get an Erudition unit that does consistent follow ups outside their turn you could very well see Hunt x Erudition becoming a viable comp. Where the Hunt Unit is main dps and the Erudition is sub/main dps also. Basically, give me Erudition Topaz.

I'm not fond on the argument of characters being rerunned and staying meta relevant, see Jingliu. She was rerunned and only saw use on Aventurine MoC 12. So I don't think that's a good way to measure the quality of the rerun.

Also for Acheron I think she will stay meta relevant for quite a long time. We just had her BiS support and she is very versatile. You focused on being teambuilding restrictive but didn't empshasized on how she plays into every endgame from decent to very well.
Besides her teambuilding its not that terrible how many ppl say.

Think about as a f2p you get access to the E0 char. You can play around with f2p characters for their teams, say Acheron and Fei. For Acheron you have Pela, Gallagher and you will lack another nihility. Might be premium might be another 4*s.
For Fei you have moze or march. But you really want Robin AND Aventurine with her. While you could still play f2p options of course. But if you are gonna invest into another 5*s you might as well consider Jiao as your other 5*s for Acheron.

So IMO versatility wise into teambuilding there's not much of a difference while endgame clearing potential Acheron plays into all content VS Fei only into 2 (not PF).

The thing I like most about acheron is that she will never truly get power crept, just need to change up supports depending on what content is required to be cleared.

Dont get trick by feixiao. You'll be surprised how bad she is if you don't have robin. Robin is the ruan mei on fua comp. You'll lose ton of dmg if you dont have robin.

Making enemies with high effect res not only would affect acheron but all the nihility characters and others like ratio and aventurine. I doubt they would do something like that, especially since they just released acheron's BiS unit.

The better investment value is whatever character you like more. People using PF as this big negative against hunt when the most of the best dps for the mode are literally 1.0 characters like Herta, Clara, Seele and Himeko.

You can definitely use both Feixiao and Acheron in all game modes its actually pretty good strat to have a strong single target type character and an aoe character in PF especially one that immediately follow-ups on an ally attack that is pretty much perfect synergy with Herta whereas Acheron is perfect with Himeko.

Overall go for what you want theres a lot of "mains" out here trying to make characters seem much better or much worse than they actually are. Its hard to go wrong with either character you will still end up clearing the content and there is 0 "value" derived from pulling character beyond that unless you enjoy using them.

Based on available resources, Acheron is more F2P friendly imo. You can get a full Acheron f2p team earlier than Feixiao.
