LATEST STAR CITIZEN PATCH ALPHA 3.10.0 LIVE

Star Citizen is an Open Development Alpha Project by Cloud Imperium. It is 2 Games really though, the Persistent Universe that aims to build a First Person MMO Space Sim that encompasses gameplay in ship & on ground, economy and pretty much anything else you can think of. It's built in the StarEngine (a modified Lumberyard Engine). You'll see massive Space Ships that you can fly with friends, land on planets, explore or whatever your way to whatever goal you choose. It's available to try in it's current Alpha State now, you can give feedback & influence the direction of the game BUT it is VERY ALPHA.
Squadron 42 is the Single Player Campaign of Star Citizen & the Spiritual Successor of Wing Commander. The Idea is the game is immersive, cinematic, beautiful & seamless... NO LOADING SCREENS once in game.
Both Games are currently in the Alpha of their development with the hope that SQ42 Episode 1 will have a Feature Complete Beta by the end of 2020.
I am suspecting to see something more mainstream for Star Citizen's PU by the end of 2022 with permanent progression, though it will be a while after that before the game is considered "feature complete".

I am an Independent Content Creator & Star Citizen Fan. I am not paid by Cloud Imperium HOWEVER I am an Evocati Member and as such I am under an NDA for Closed Early Patch Tests of Star Citizen', known as the Evocati Test Flight (ETF). They occasionally offer me ships for giveaways too, which I will take if they are truely NO STRINGS ATTACHED.
GameGlass, Shadow & NordVPN referrals give me a small kickback, however I am not paid by them for any specific videos or promotion. Unless Otherwise Stated.

Thank you for doing these for each major patch.

Starting as a new player in a PlanetSide apartment and expecting to be able to figure out all the challenges of navigating the city to figuring out why the ship is auto-ramming into the planet on takeoff seems too much like starting off in a boss fight before you even have a chance to get a grip on the controls.

Dev: How many new features will we need to build the game?
Chris: Yes!

“You will probably encounter bugs” is the most underrated statement in this entire video.

Nowadays, I get out of bed by asking "why?" I'll be right at home with Star Citizen.

This game is by far the most Ambitious. It has some of the best Graphics, Game play, Community, Features(as far as what you can do). I just started and flew around for literally 2 hours! BUT I DIDNT KNOW WHAT SPACE BRAKE WAS 🤣

New flight model and combat is enjoyable. It's nice to be able to use fixed weapons again.

Great idea to give a tutorial for every major patch, so many youtubers put up a "tutorial" and keep pointing people at it long after it has been made obsolete, keep up the good work Bored :)

Awesome quick video for starters to Star Citizens (A must watch). I wish I had have seen this before having tried SC out for the first time, as my initial trys of the game were a steep learning curve and a complete disaster (I'm super Green to SC)
Heres a list of a few things I found:
- When attempting to set a route via the star map, I found that it was only possible once I raised my landing gear but may also be linked to not having been out of the planets atmosphere (Yes, I'm a Noob!)
- Stowing food and drink is only possible if you are wearing an undersuit and armor. Standard clothing does not provide room to stow these. Also note that if you die, the stowed food and drink are gone.
PS: Try to get into the habit of re-equipping your helmet immediately after having a drink and/or food. I cannot even recount the number of times I have died to this mechanic as you get very little warning that can be easily missed (chocking sound) and you will lose health very quickly.

This video should be included in game as a tutorial. It is quick, concise yet detailed. Thanks & great work BoredGamer!

Now that I've tried an Area 18 takeoff, I see that locating the exit corridor isn't the easiest thing to do. I wonder what new players will make of that in 3.10.

THANK YOU. I spent a good two hours just trying to figure out how to spawn my ship in before I found this video. I’m now at the point where I’ve died in dogfights in space multiple times, and I’m having a blast, I appreciate it :)

Ah, appreciate the ship combat tips! In my time playing I've been avoiding combat, so my only experience in that field is getting my Prospector shot from behind by a griefer's rockets.

I needed this for the new ship combat, it’s a bit more confusing than it was... but it’s awesome

Instilling SC on a SSD is almost a must have at this point

I've just started this game and I've died twice before leaving the hanger then again on a random planet - literally no idea what I'm doing but it's pretty.

Holy crap, how can anyone remember all this. I just got the game, the learning curve is huge.

Thanks for these vids, me and my bro are enjoying the free trial - I pledged back in 2016 but my pc was garbage (by comparison to what I have now). Really enjoying the progress and such fun knowing nothing! Took us 25 minutes to open the door to the Anvil :) Good times

SSD does a lot more than help with loading times. Without having it installed on an SSD your FPS are going to be awful.
