Turbotax Review 2025: Use It or Skip It?

In my review of Turbotax for 2025 (for 2024 tax year), I'll tell you what I like about and what I don't like about it. I'll talk about the costs, features, and who I think should use Turbotax and who should use something else.

Used to love Turbotax, but now I hate it. Their programming team used to do a much better job of making it simple. Now it seems like they purposely make it confusing in order to push their for-pay service.

-turbo tax is horrible
-tried it, i wasn’t able to file with it
-now they refused to refund $279.44
-contacting attorney general now
-but don’t lose you your money with turbo tax, use another service

Only available as a download as well (NO CD option avail any longer) . Have had issues w key codes and downloads in past and time consuming to get resolved where they occur! Wish still had CD option and may seek other options this year.
