I would say bow because you can put on the power enchantment book on it and it could possibly do 2 hit kills

Now because if I’m going in an irl gunfight it’s probably gonna be easier to hit someone with an arrow then a whole ahh trident

I'd say the trident since it does alot more damage than the bow, as it does 8 dmg, same as the netherite sword in bedrock, but it depends, java bow and java trident? Or bedrock bow and bedrock trident. Cuz they're different.
