Doesn't the amount of nudge also depend on how zoomed in you are? Many time I am aligning stacked images (my tip: top image set to 50% with an invert applied; the misalignment highlights the edges; when aligned, the stacked images turn grey since they cancel themselves out) and 1 pixel is sometimes too much. If I zoom in, the amount of movement is much smaller and I can get a better alignment. Also, to zoom, hover over image and mouse wheel scroll - but maybe everybody knows that. Also, middle mouse button functions as the hand tool (learned this from Blender). Good channel - sub'd!
