Megan pls don’t keep the picture discs in the plastic sleeves cause they might leave a residue on the record! it’s better to just put it in a protective sleeve alongside some sort of cardboard so that it’s protected

My favorite album packaging of the year goes to Taylor Swift's "The Tortured Poets Department". I have "The Manuscript" and "The Albatross" editions. And, when we find out the international info, I'll be getting "The Anthology" 4 LP edition. I love the book design on these. My runner-up is Mariah Carey's 30th anniversary "Music Box" 4 LP set. A lovely design on this set. It has a die cut flap that exposes the full pic of the headshot only photo used on the original album cover. The flap opens to the pocket, which houses the 4 LP's and a poster. The LP sleeves each contain wonderful photoshoot outtakes from all of the "Music Box" promo shoots. And the poster has more photoshoot outtakes. And best of all, the concert from her 1993 NBC Thanksgiving special is included on one of the LP's. Next month, there's a slew of Mariah Carey "Merry Christmas" 30th anniversary releases. Including a big 2 LP set, which could give the "Music Box" and "Tortured Poets Department" LP sets a run for their money. It's looks to be similar to "The Tortured Poets Department" design, but more elaborate. The "Music Box" LP set was released a few months late, in 2024. 2023 was the real 30th anniversary.

a wonderful record store you should keep an eye on is JM records in Exeter (online as well) they specialise in US imports - manged to get a red press of Born to Die and very recently got the dark blue/alt cover target exclusive of Sour for a reasonable price in the UK
