Robert Blake, 'Baretta' star acquitted of wife’s murder, dies at 89

Actor Robert Blake, known for his role as the title character in the 1970s series “Baretta,” has died at age 89. Drama followed Blake off-screen when he was tried and later acquitted for the 2001 shooting death of his second wife, Bonny Lee Bakley. NBC’s Anne Thomson reports for TODAY.

A fine actor. Regular guy. Hilarious on the Carson show & he was a good friend of Johnny too. They snubbed him at the Oscars.. Not a very nice thing to do, Bobby would've laughed that off. Screw the academy awards anyway. I won't be watching them anymore.
