This song makes me feel so nostalgic, probably because of the picture since it reminds me of early 2000s fan art, or the song is sampled. So yeah, I will probably never know but i really like the song.

I’ve listened to this dozens of times and I think I finally figured out why it sounds nostalgic, 1 the remix uses early 2000s sound effects like the rhythmic clapping and the pluck effect, 2 the voices also sound like 2000s nightcore, 3 the art in the video looks like 2000s pokemon fanart and the image seems to have a tint on it that makes it look aged which further reinforces the nostalgic feeling it gives of.

Hi everyone! Crazy unexpected update in 2023 on a video I uploaded in 2016! I think I left a comment here a couple weeks ago on a new YouTube account, but I honestly forgot to follow up…

I’m pleasantly surprised with the activity of this video still! I’m happy to see people are still enjoying this song, even almost seven years later.

The question everyone has wanted to know the answer to this entire time was who the artist of the art is for this video. And my honest answer is— I don’t know. Or at least, I didn’t know until you all did some researching which I greatly appreciate! I found this fan art on Pinterest at the time of editing this video. Me being a stupid kid, I didn’t really think of crediting the artist :(. As the video grew in popularity, I felt worse and worse that I was unable to properly credit the artist. I’m still not certain, but I’m pretty sure the artist is @2tg0_jemi on Twitter. Commenters on this video found out that this piece was made around 2011. Please please please correct me if this is not the proper artist, I will immediately leave an edit to this comment if it’s still false. But to those who have been so helpful these past seven years, thank you <3

i think people think it's creepy because it has a really haunting and unconventional chord progression. I think if it was slowed down and the synth and vocals were isolated, it would be pretty creepy. but the song itself is very upbeat, which just makes it very jazzy to me. great song
